Bryce Toshiro Bishari
Toshiro is the recording name of one Bryce Bishari. He takes his name from legendary Japanese actor Toshiro Mifune. Their commonality goes beyond their Japanese ancestry and into the realm of fate. Mifune began acting when his application for employment as a cameraman became mixed up with the actors' applications. In the same way Bishari started his decade long love affair with the guitar when his mother gave him a guitar that she won in a local raffle. Since then he has spent countless hours in bedrooms across the country practicing his craft, experimenting with alternative tunings and complicated song structures. It wasn't until recently that he found his voice as a singer. Everyone around him was shocked by the vast emotion that poured out like a broken levee. Since then he has been playing small music clubs around the country, the kind of clubs that Bob Dylan preferred for their intimate acoustics. Currently he is working on Toshiro's debut LP which will be entitled Fight Songs For The NonConfrontational due out late 2010/ early 2011
